Alf Website Studio is Spaceship's conversational website builder: describe the site the way you would brief a web developer, and Alf generates copy, branding and images, then refines the draft as you ask for changes or edit directly in a visual editor. Its clearest advantage is bundling — hosting, automatic domain connection and a free SSL certificate all come included in the price, removing the separate hosting decision most AI site builders leave to you. A 30-day free trial gives full access to both the chat generation and the visual editor before the $5/month price kicks in. The trade-off is lock-in: unlike Wegic, Alf offers no code export, so the site only runs on Spaceship's own managed hosting with no migration path if you later want to move elsewhere. External domains need to be pointed to Spaceship's nameservers to get SSL and full functionality, which is real setup work for anyone domained elsewhere.
