ElevenLabs charges 1 credit per character on its standard Multilingual models. Flash and Turbo models cost 0.5 to 1 credit per character through the API, so a Flash-only workload can need fewer credits. The rate for v3 and v4 is not published, so 1 is used.

Murf measures audio time, not characters. This calculator assumes 900 characters of script per minute of audio (about 150 words a minute). That is our estimate, not a Murf figure. Slower voices and pauses use more minutes per character.

ElevenLabs Creator is cheaper by $8 a year ($220 against $228 for Murf AI Creator).
